so here it is the official flag for QPOC that i designed. please share this lets flood the internet with this. the mainstream LGBTQIA+ media know that we are Queer People of Color and we demand visibility. we demand the right to control our own narratives we aren’t just here to fulfill your racial quota so that you can feel good about your selves. we are sick of being marginalized and trivialized. We are sick of your rampant racism. we are sick of your constant white washing. we are sick of being silenced.. we are more than just some kinky thing that you can try once. we are more than “thugs” your “latin papis” your “spicy latinas” or any of the other shit you want us to be. we are sick of being oversexualized we are more than your “exotic little play things”. the QPOC design show cases all the skin tones of Queer people of color from the lightest (north Asians and biracial people not white people) to the darkest it also show cases the power fist used in both the Black Power and Chicano Power movements this is symbolic of the unity we all have as Queer people of Color throughout the LGBTQIA+ community.

Also important information: A cop cannot arrest you for something you already took. You can tell a cop to his face that you just injected black tar heroin in your veins and as long as you don’t currently have any on you (including things like syringes or residue in a pipe), there’s fuck all he can do about it.
I take police reports for a living. The number of people who will happily tell someone “Well officer, this fight started because I smoked crack cocaine earlier,” is astounding and also not at all illegal. The criminal charge is for Possession of a Controlled Substance. If you don’t possess any at the time, there’s no crime. The only thing you can get dinged for is if you’re actively on a drug and driving, in which case - DUI.
Please, please, please tell EMTs what you took. They’re not going to rat you out to the cops and even if they did, you will still be okay.

Just wanted to share this coming out story from a guy I saw on First Dates. He came out to his dad when he was 20, and then his mum when he was 21, after trying very hard to hide that part of himself and never really discussing anything like that in their household. Hearing his mother’s response after he explained all that was really gratifying. To all Muslim LGBT+ people, As-Salaam-Alaikum <3
This is so sweet.
My mom (a conservative Catholic woman) had a very similar reaction. It’s cool to see people of faiths that are traditionally anti-LGBT have reactions like this one.
